Axial and coronal MRI of the female pelvic floor was acquirteed during sustained voluntary contractions. The MRI data was used as a basis for the development of a 3D representation of the contraction process. The Muscle Action Simulation Model was adapted to enable interaction between muscle and organ soft tissue. Implementation was based on Houdini 3D software
and VEX scripting. |
