Sperm Whale

In "Incredible Suckers" the animation of the sperm whale was achieved using Vassili's organic modeling routines VooDoo. Hand drawn textures were wrapped around the polygonal body of the whale to create colour and normal maps.

The 3D model of the sperm whale was scanned using a CYBERWARE 3D laser scanner. The scale model of the whale was lent by the

Natural History Museum, London.
